Business terms:
I am available for work on the whole Ireland and UK area
The artefact complexity varies so greatly so I do not structure a fee schedule based only on the number of artefacts submitted.
I base my cost estimate on the time I predict each individual artefact will require to illustrate and multiply that by an hourly rate of €20.
This rate is low because I work from my home and my overheads are minimal
I can also be temporary employed on practised rent of pay in more important projects
Artefact illustrations:
*produced using a variety of techniques, from the traditional pencil and ink method,
to the modern approach of producing the images in Adobe PhotoShop and Illustrator,
Corel PHOTO-
*produced accurate images from clear photographs or digital images
*where patterns are very feint it is fisable to enhance the drawn artefact using artistic licence to show positive identifying features
Excavation recording and publication:
*3D visualizations, 3D animations, 3D modelling,
*digital archaeological reconstructions
*CAD (Computer Aided Design) 2D drafting and design
*free hand plans and elevations drawing
*image treatment using Adobe PhotoShop, Corel PHOTO-
*vector graphics using Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW
